Kathryn Bigsby, PT, DPT, SCS

Katy Bigsby, a physical therapist and Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, joined the Armor Physical Therapy (formerly Agility Physical Therapy and Sports Performance) staff in June 2016. Prior to joining our staff, she worked in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine in Cincinnati, OH for four years.

Katy is a 2009 graduate of Michigan State University and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Grand Valley State University in 2012. She completed a Division I Sports Physical Therapy Residency in 2013 at the University of Cincinnati where she worked primarily with the football and baseball teams. Katy has extensive experience in treating and preventing football and baseball-related injuries and is well versed in hockey and figure skating injuries, having been a competitive figure skater for 20 years.

Katy has achieved publication in several peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, where she is active in working with the Sports Physical Therapy Section.

When she is not working, Katy enjoys cycling and rock climbing and is currently in the process of visiting each of the 59 US National Parks with her husband.
