Hands-on therapy

At Armor PT in Plainwell, we provide some of the best services in Southwest Michigan. These services include manual therapy, kinesio taping, cupping, electrical stimulation, myofascial release, IASTM/Graston Technique, pediatric physical therapy, therapeutic exercise, spine and back therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and TRX training.

We also provide specific services for sports performance, such as gait evaluation, lactate threshold testing, sports performance training, biomechanical evaluations, triathlon training, shoe and orthotic recommendations, and healthy spine treatments. Our staff also offers specific programs for athletic achievement, such as our Golf Performance Academy, Just for Kids!, S2 P.E.A.K Training, and Performing Arts & Dance.

What we treat

We provide treatment for several parts of the body, including back pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, elbow/wrist/hand pain, pelvic pain, neck pain, headaches, hip and knee pain, foot and ankle pain, and neurological conditions. We also provide treatment for certain injuries, ailments, and conditions, such as sports injuries, work injuries, motor vehicle injuries, balance and gait dysfunction, arthritis, TMJ, fibromyalgia, torticollis, and women’s health conditions. Additionally, we offer specific rehabilitation and recovery programs, such as pre-surgical rehab, post-surgical rehab, vestibular rehab, and work hardening.

Stacie received her Master of Science (MS) in Physical Therapy degree from Grand Valley State University in 1995. She has attended many continuing education courses with an emphasis on orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports training. She is currently in the process of becoming certified in Graston (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization / IASTM) Techniques.

Stacie has been very involved in the Otsego and Plainwell communities and schools over the years, teaching exercise education and coaching children’s sports teams of all ages and levels. Stacie joined the Plainwell Armor Physical Therapy clinic in 2010.

In her free time, Stacie enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and children- Tyler and Mattison. She is an avid sports enthusiast. She has played many sports such as softball, hockey, volleyball, soccer, and basketball. She enjoys playing golf, walking, and outside activities.

Kristen is a Physical Therapist who joined Armor Physical Therapy in 2019. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Clinical Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University in 2014 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Grand Valley State University in 2019.

Kristen is passionate about orthopedic manual therapy, sports injury recovery, vestibular rehabilitation, and post-operative rehabilitation. Kristen has experience treating patients ranging from infants to professional athletes. She has continuing education in McKenzie Therapy, functional dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, postpartum rehabilitation, and orthopedic manual therapy.

Kristen spends her free time chasing after her daughter, Callie, and enjoys reading novels, landscaping, running with her dog, and watching Netflix movie marathons with her husband, Adam. Kristen loves staying active and has completed three sprint triathlons in addition to playing multiple sports like basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, soccer, and ultimate frisbee.

Aaron was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago before attending Calvin University, from which he graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2016. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2019.

Aaron specializes in vestibular and balance therapy but also enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and working with athletes. He has received training in interventions such as cupping and blood flow restriction.

He and his wife, Erika, welcomed twin boys, Grayson and Easton, in April of 2021. When not in the clinic, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports such as basketball and golf.

He is a graduate from Aquinas College in 2016 with a degree in Exercise Science and went on to graduate from the Baker College of Auburn Hills Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019.

Kameron was born and raised in Battle Creek, MI and now he and his wife live in Kalamazoo. He played 4 years of collegiate baseball between Kellogg Community College and Aquinas College while receiving multiple degrees on his path to becoming a PTA.
