Our services

Each treatment plan is dependent upon an extensive evaluation, implementing our advanced diagnostic tools and examining the root of the patient’s problem. Hands-on therapy

At Armor PT in Kalamazoo, we provide some of the best services in Southwest Michigan. Our specialties include orthopedic and sports PT, manual therapy, post-operative rehab, overuse injury treatment, neuromuscular re-training, TRX assisted rehab, McKenzie treatment, dry needling, osteopathic manual therapy, women’s health, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

We also provide specific services for sports performance, such as gait evaluation, lactate threshold testing, sports performance training, biomechanical evaluations, triathlon training, shoe and orthotic recommendations, and healthy spine treatments. Our staff also offers specific programs for athletic achievement, such as our Golf Performance Academy, Just for Kids!, S2 P.E.A.K Training, and Performing Arts & Dance.

What we treat

We provide treatment for several parts of the body, including back pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, elbow/wrist/hand pain, pelvic pain, neck pain, headaches, hip and knee pain, foot and ankle pain, and neurological conditions. We also provide treatment for certain injuries, ailments, and conditions, such as sports injuries, work injuries, motor vehicle injuries, balance and gait dysfunction, arthritis, TMJ, fibromyalgia, torticollis, and women’s health conditions. Additionally, we offer specific rehabilitation and recovery programs, such as pre-surgical rehab, post-surgical rehab, vestibular rehab, and work hardening.

Our clinical staff has advanced training in many different areas to handle even the most complicated of musculoskeletal injuries.  We have the only Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy in the Southwest Michigan Area and Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics on our staff. Our team includes Scott Miller, PT, MS, SCS, CSCS, TPI-CGFI, Director of Clinical Operations; Adam Swain, PT, OCS, ATC, CSCS, FAAOMPT, Certified MDT, Certified DN; Stefany Schiller, PT, DPT; Cassie McDonald Ross, PT, DPT, Clinic Director; Teri Proper, PTA, BS; Lexi Ambs, Physical Therapy Technician; and Shayna Phillips, PTA.
