Our services

At Armor PT in East Kalamazoo, we greet each of our patients with a caring and highly-trained staff equipped to treat whatever discomfort they may be feeling. Hands-on therapy

At Armor PT in East Kalamazoo, we provide some of the best services in Southwest Michigan. Our specialties include orthopedic and sports PT, manual therapy, post-operative rehab, overuse injury treatment, neuromuscular re-training, TRX assisted rehab, McKenzie treatment, dry needling, osteopathic manual therapy, women’s health, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM).

We also provide specific services for sports performance, such as gait evaluation, lactate threshold testing, sports performance training, biomechanical evaluations, triathlon training, shoe and orthotic recommendations, and healthy spine treatments. Our staff also offers specific programs for athletic achievement, such as our Golf Performance Academy, Just for Kids!, S2 P.E.A.K Training, and Performing Arts & Dance.

What we treat

We provide treatment for several parts of the body, including back pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, elbow/wrist/hand pain, pelvic pain, neck pain, headaches, hip and knee pain, foot and ankle pain, and neurological conditions. We also provide treatment for certain injuries, ailments, and conditions, such as sports injuries, work injuries, motor vehicle injuries, balance and gait dysfunction, arthritis, TMJ, fibromyalgia, torticollis, and women’s health conditions. Additionally, we offer specific rehabilitation and recovery programs, such as pre-surgical rehab, post-surgical rehab, vestibular rehab, and work hardening.

Our Staff

Our clinical staff has advanced training in many different areas to handle even the most complicated of musculoskeletal injuries. We have the only Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy in the Southwest Michigan Area and Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics on our staff. Our staff is comprised of leading PT experts, passionate about helping each and every patient reach their individual goals. PT, DPT

Adelicia is a physical therapist who joined the Armor team in 2021. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Midwestern State University in Texas in 2013.  She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2016.  

Known as Adi to her patients, she enjoys helping active individuals, from avid gardener to high school athlete, return back to their passion. She is currently pursuing her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification.   Adi has worked in outpatient orthopedics prior to joining the Armor team.

When not at work, you can probably find her outside running, biking, or camping with her husband and dog Ellie.   She recently completed the North Country Trail Marathon.

Amanda Baumann, PT

Amanda joined the Armor Team in 2021 at the East Kalamazoo location. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in clinical exercise science from Grand Valley State University before going on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy again from GVSU. She has experience in working with athletes recovering from injuries and surgeries. She is also level 1 certified through the Titleist Performance Institute. Additionally she holds her Applied Functional Science certification through the Gray Institute. Amanda found her passion for physical therapy after she underwent hip surgery in high school. Through physical therapy she was able to return to sports and maintain her active lifestyle. She enjoys providing the same opportunity to her patients. In Amanda’s free time she enjoys golfing with her husband, playing with her adorable Golden Retriever and being outside.

Brett joined Armor Physical Therapy in February of 2021. He currently fulfils a dual role at Armor’s East Kalamazoo location as both the Front Office Coordinator and Rehabilitation Tech.

Brett graduated from Grand Valley State University in May of 2021 with a Bachelor’s of Science Majoring in Exercise Science. He is currently working towards acceptance into a graduate school to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. In his free time, Brett enjoys running and playing the drums.
