Top notch therapists! I worked mainly with 3 different ones: Derek, Caleb and Stephanie. They all take their jobs very seriously and I really liked that they were adapt my exercise program to fit my lifestyle outside of PT. I also enjoyed that they listened to me with any concerns or challenges that I had and worked with me on things. I would definitely recommend! I am an incoming college athlete and started going to Armor PT during the spring because of knee pain that limited my ability to compete in my sport. All of the staff here are incredible and worked with me to ensure that I could get back to my normal activities. I've had a great experience at Armor Physical Therapy. Derek and Cody, along with the rest of the support team, have been fantastic to work with. They've paid close attention to my specific problem area and built a treatment plan around it, both with in-office exercises and a solid take-home routine to keep progress going between visits. Armor PT Portage has helped me become functionally stronger, and I couldn't ask for a better team. Cody & Derek somehow survived my habit of giving all my exercises ridiculous names and still laugh at my terrible mom jokes. They're flexible, accommodating, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping their patients succeed. Great people, great care, and plenty of laughs along the way. I highly recommend armor PT. I went there to have my bad knee improved. I highly recommend armor PT. They did a great job in making my knee better. I ruptured my achilles tendon back in March of 2026. I had surgery and eventually chose this Armor Physical Therapy location for my PT to restrengthen my achilles. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional. I alternated my time between Derek and Destiny and it was a fantastic experience working with both of them. They were thorough in their explanations of exercises and answering any questions I had. Additionally, Kayla, Nico, and Courtney were all great helps as well. Very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Armor Physical Therapy to anyone that needs PT, they do an amazing job! I work mainly with Cody and Destiny but all of the staff is excellent and very knowledgeable, they make it enjoyable and try to make it painless as much as possible. I had rotator cuff surgery and it has been a slow recovery but I feel therapy has been very helpful. After a work injury I was recommended to Armor Physical Therapy (Portage location) for recovery. I had my initial assessment with Derek who put me through tests and explained everything from why we were doing them, and what it checks/shows him. He put a plan together and put the next few months in motion for me to get back to normalcy. I had sessions with Derek and also Cody. Both were great, making sure to explain stretches and what it would do for me, as well as make sure I felt comfortable all while pushing myself to get better. While I didn't work with any of the other therapists, they were all friendly. Interns were also very helpful during sessions when present. (Shout-out Nico and Kayla.) And the glue that holds the whole team together is Courtney at the front desk. Handling my calls and checking everything to match my schedule as much as possible. I have been attending my appointments at Armot PT on Lovers Lane for about two months now. I just have a few sessions left. I have found the people at the front desk along with the PT people to be very helpful and gracious and understanding. They have created an excellent program for me to gain the strength back that I needed in my arms. I am very happy with how they have worked with me.
