Scott Miller is a physical therapist and a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist. A native to the area, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1994 and a Master of Science in 1998 from Grand Valley State University. Scott is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute. He started with Rehab Professionals in 1999 and served as the Sports Medicine Manager/Clinic Director of GRSportsCenter, in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2006, he resigned his position to form a partnership with Agility Health Inc. (formerly Rehab Professionals). In 2007, with his Agility Health partner, Scott opened Agility Physical Therapy & Sports Performance in Portage, Michigan. With his team growing, the Kalamazoo location was opened in 2010 and the Mattawan location was opened in 2015. Scott is currently the Regional Director of Clinical Operations of Armor Physical Therapy (formerly Agility Physical Therapy & Sports Performance) for the Portage, Kalamazoo and Mattawan locations.

Scott has been published in several orthopedic textbooks and lectures at the local, regional and national levels on various topics in physical therapy. He has continued to pursue advanced education and training in foot & ankle biomechanics, manual therapy and the McKenzie method for evaluation and treatment of spinal disorders.

Scott is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association, Sports Physical Therapy Section, and a former Board of Trustee member and secretary for the Institute of Education and Research of the Michigan Physical Therapy Association. He currently is a member of the Western Michigan University DPT Program Clinical Advisory Panel, as well as a member of the Knee, Shoulder and Running Special Interest Groups (SIG) of the Sports Physical Therapy Section. Scott is part of the teaching faculty for Advances in Clinical Education and the North American Sports Medicine Institute. In 2014, Scott was accepted as an Affiliate Member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), a world leader in sports medicine education, research, communication and fellowship. AOSSM is an international organization of orthopaedic surgeons and other allied healthcare professionals dedicated to sports medicine.

Scott was the recipient of the New Horizon Award given by the Sports Physical Therapy Section in 2006 and the Distinguished Physical Therapy Alumni Award by Grand Valley State University in 2015. Scott is an avid golfer, runner, cyclist and triathlete at various distances, including marathon and 2009 Ironman Florida finishers. He is also the co-founder of the Golf Performance Academy of Southwest Michigan.
