Cassie McDonald-Ross, PT
Cassie is a physical therapist who joined the staff at Armor Physical Therapy (formerly Agility Physical Therapy & Sports Performance) in September 2017. She is a native of Battle Creek, Michigan and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Olivet College in 2013 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2017. Her practice interest areas are general orthopedics, sports, and Women’s Health.
Cassie continues to help grow our newer program at Armor PT focused on female pelvic health — providing physical therapy interventions for pelvic pain, incontinence, and for the pregnancy and postpartum populations to improve women’s abilities to be physically active and live a healthier lifestyle. She has participated in and continues to seek opportunities for continuing education in the area of pelvic health and pregnancy/postpartum. Her goal is to build a team of quality pelvic therapists at many Armor locations to make this specialized treatment more accessible.
Cassie played collegiate volleyball at Olivet College for 3 years with her career ending due to multiple knee injuries, catapulting her interest in physical therapy as a career. She has participated in many sports over the years, including swimming, softball, and basketball in addition to volleyball. She continues to work towards maintaining an active lifestyle to promote her own personal wellness.
Cassie and her husband, Joshua Ross, reside in Kalamazoo with their son, Graeme.
